Janie Roberts has practiced law in Franklin County since May 1985.  She began her career as a criminal trial lawyer with the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office.  She continued her legal career at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and worked with Victim’s of Crime and on Worker’s Compensation cases that involved jury trials around the State of Ohio.   Janie then became Magistrate Roberts after being appointed Magistrate in Franklin County Juvenile Court.   After serving as Magistrate for 9 years,  she opened a private practice law office.  Since 2006, Janie has represented hundreds of clients in domestic and criminal courts in Franklin and counties around the State.

Attorney Roberts’  practice focuses on representing people in domestic, juvenile and criminal cases.   She is knowledgeable in the law, experienced at court and caring about the outcomes for her clients.    She likes working with people during difficult times in their lives and is efficient in getting fair outcomes in their cases.

Janie Roberts comes from a hardworking family in rural Southeastern Ohio.   She resides in Italian Village where she loves spending time with her three children and pets.
